Most pet owners have no idea they can fill their pet's prescriptions at a regular pharmacy. In New York, your vet has to give you a written prescription if you ask, and it's usually a lot cheaper to fill it here.

Some pet medications only come from a vet. Apoquel, Cerenia and Convenia are made for animals. No human pharmacy can fill them, ours included. If your pet's medication has a human equivalent, we can almost always beat the clinic price. Not sure which yours is? Text us the name at (347) 480-1160.

We can quote more than these 13.
Text us your list.

Send us your pet's prescription list. We'll quote the whole thing within the hour. A photo of your last vet receipt helps too.

Pet medications only, please. Do not enter your own human medications here.

Prices listed reflect our cash price for the medication at the quantity shown. Not insurance. Not a substitute for veterinary advice. Valid veterinary prescription required. Prices subject to change. Brand names shown are reference equivalents only; medications dispensed are FDA-approved generics. Comparison to 'vet price' based on published 2026 U.S. pricing data. Vet price ranges come from published 2026 U.S. veterinary pricing sources. Some figures are derived from a documented median vet markup applied to the cash price for the same drug, rather than individually surveyed at each clinic. Sources last reviewed 2026-10-05. Actual prices vary by location and change over time.

Three steps, that's it

How to switch.

1

Ask your vet, or let us

In New York, your vet has to give you a written prescription if you ask for it, and you can fill it at any pharmacy you choose. Or skip that conversation. Give us your vet's name and we'll request the transfer ourselves.

2

We call your vet

We call your vet's office and ask for the transfer. Want to handle it yourself instead? Drop off the script at 104-15 Jamaica Ave, Richmond Hill, NY 11418, or text us a photo.

The fine print, in plain English

Questions, answered.

Is this the same medication my vet dispenses?

Yes. Every drug on our $10 list is an FDA-approved human generic. Vets commonly prescribe these off-label for dogs and cats: same molecule, same strength, made to the same manufacturing standard. Your vet writes the dose and quantity. We fill it the same way we'd fill a prescription for anyone in your family.

How is it so much cheaper than the vet?

A vet's price has to cover the cost of running a dispensary inside the clinic. There's no price comparison at that counter either. You're handed the medication at the same visit, worried about your animal, with nothing to check it against. We're a pharmacy. Filling prescriptions is the whole business, so the overhead spreads across thousands of scripts. Smaller margin, more scripts. You still pay your vet for the exam. You're just not paying their dispensary.

Why not Chewy?

Chewy's generics are competitively priced. But they wait for your vet to confirm the prescription before shipping, often several days, plus shipping if your order's under their minimum. We fill the same generic the same day. No carrier shipping, and a pharmacist is right here if you have a question about the dose.

What if my pet's medication isn't on the list?

Text us the drug name and dose at (347) 480-1160. We'll quote it. Most pet medications with a human generic equivalent cost far less here than at the vet. The $10 list above is just the 13 we fill most often.

Do you take pet insurance?

Pet insurance reimburses you directly. Submit our receipt to your insurer the same way you would a vet's receipt. We don't bill insurance at the counter. This is cash pay, which is part of why the price is low.

Can you fill controlled substances?

Not yet. Phenobarbital, tramadol, alprazolam and other controlled pet medications aren't part of this program yet. Everything on the $10 list above is ready today.
